Demand Factors: Business Confidence
The National Australia Bank collects data in regards to business confidence on a quarterly basis. This can result in some variation within a calendar year that is not revealed in the table below. In each case the figure in the table represents the index figure as at June 30th. (So, for example, the figure in June 2008 was -7.5.) The significant fall in 2008 (and subsequent strong recovery in early 2009) is revealed in the graph, but not in the table.
